One part of the Climate Business Index is the companies’ capacity building that is done through the training support scheme. Support opportunities are developed based on company demand and events for training, financing, and networking will be conducted for companies, investors, and other stakeholders. This is important in order to promote companies’ voluntary activities and understanding of climate change.

The training support scheme of CBI is called Smart training series covering five themes: Smart city; Smart farm, Smart factory; Smart building, and Smart business. With this kind of holistic approach, CBI wants to open opportunities for companies to connect the emergence of smart trends with their creative innovations. 

This is the online training of the training support scheme with and objective to introduce the smart trends and the activities UNDP is conducting within these themes. Learning materials will be further developed and dates for the training events announced.
